How to Add a Tribute Message
Contributors can add a tribute message to a Laud Crowd. They can customize their message with text, images, voice notes, and font styles.
Steps to Add a Message
- Open the Laud Crowd link.
- Click on Add Message.
- Type your message in the text box.
- Optionally, customize the message with:
- Font Styles: Choose from various fonts for personalization.
- Images: Upload an image to accompany the message.
- Voice Note: Record a voice message (automatically transcribed into text).
- AI Assistance: Use AI to generate message suggestions.
- Click Save to submit the message.
Setting Message Privacy
Contributors can control who can see their message using Message Privacy Settings:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Open | The message is visible to everyone with access to the card. (Default setting) |
| Card Viewers | The message is visible only to other contributors and the recipient. |
| Private | The message is visible only to the recipient. |
Editing a Tribute Message
- Contributors can edit their message before publishing if they have a registered account.
- Once the Laud Card is published, messages can no longer be edited.
Notes
- Voice messages are transcribed automatically.
- Contributors do not need an account to add messages, but registering allows them to edit their submission later.
