What is Team Privacy?
Team Privacy settings control who can contribute to a Laud Crowd. These settings are managed by the Card Creator.
Available Team Privacy Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Allow Forwarding (Open) | Anyone with the tribute URL can contribute. (Default setting) |
| Allow Suggestion | Contributors can suggest additional people, subject to creator approval. |
| Organization (Premium Feature) | Only users within the organization can contribute. External users require approval. |
| Closed Group (Premium Feature) | Only contributors manually added by the creator can contribute. |
How to Set Team Privacy
- During the Laud Creation process, navigate to the Options step.
- Locate the Team Privacy Setting dropdown.
- Choose the appropriate privacy option.
- If using Allow Suggestion, approve or reject suggested contributors as needed.
Changing Team Privacy After Creation
- The Card Creator can update the Team Privacy Setting before the card is published.
- Once a card is published, privacy settings cannot be changed.
Best Practices for Team Privacy
- Use Open (Allow Forwarding) for widely shared group cards.
- Use Closed Group if you want strict control over contributors.
- If managing a corporate card, consider Organization settings for internal contributions.
Note: Some privacy options are only available in the Premium version.
