Managing Notification Settings
LaudWords allows you to customize your notification preferences to ensure you receive only the updates that matter to you. You can enable or disable different types of notifications from the Settings page.
Available Notification Options
1. Invitations
- Notifications when you are invited to contribute to a Laud Crowd.
- It is strongly recommended to leave this ON so that you don’t miss hearing about a Laud Crowd that you are invited to contribute on.
2. Reminders
- Up to two short, friendly reminders about your interraction on a Laud:
- It is recommended to leave this ON so that you don’t miss the publish timeline for a Laud in which you’re in the Crowd!
3. Suggestions
- These are occasional notifications about events relating to a Laud that you’re part of the Crowd, progress of the Laud Crowd, or interactions by the receiver.
- It is a good idea to leave this ON so that you hear what the Crowd hears and have an opporunity to respond!
How to Customize Notification Preferences
Go to Settings
- Click on your profile in the sidebar menu and select Settings.
Find the Notifications Section
- Locate the Notifications section in the settings page.
Toggle Notifications On/Off
- Use the switch to enable or disable notifications based on your preferences.

Both email, and in-app.

Q. Can I mute notifications temporarily?
No, there is currently no temporary mute option in the app.
Many devices and some email clients already provide options to apply short-term or periodic notification muting. If you prefer not to receive notifications for an extended period, simply turn these off in the LaudWords app Notification Settings. When Notification Settings are OFF, then you will not be sent email notifications.
