Managing Audio Settings in LaudWords
LaudWords allows you to control different types of audio playback within the platform. The Audio Settings section lets you customize how sounds behave while viewing or interacting with a Laud.
Audio Settings Options
1. Card View Audio
- When enabled, a background audio will play while viewing a Laud.
- If disabled, the background audio will be muted.
2. App Sounds
- This setting controls additional sounds within the platform, including:
- Voice notes from contributors.
- Videos that contain audio.
- Sound effects in the interface.
- If disabled, all system sounds except background audio will be muted.
How to Adjust Audio Settings
- Navigate to Settings in the sidebar menu.
- Scroll down to the Audio section.
- Toggle the switch for:
- Card View Audio to enable or disable background sound.
- App Sounds to enable or disable all other sounds.
- Your settings will be automatically saved.

Q: If I mute App Sounds, can I still hear background audio?
Yes, Card View Audio is a separate setting. Even if App Sounds is turned off, background audio will still play unless muted.
Q: Can I adjust the volume of background audio?
Currently, there is no volume control within LaudWords. The audio follows your device’s volume settings.
