Managing Your Account in LaudWords
The Account Management section allows you to update your profile, manage your login information, and control your account settings, including the option to sign out or delete your account.
Profile Management
You can update your profile details, including:
- Profile Picture – Upload a new image or GIF to personalize your account.
- Name – Edit your display name.
- Email Address – Update your registered email.
How to Update Your Profile
- Click on your profile name in the sidebar menu.
- On the Profile Page, click the edit icon next to your name or email.
- Enter your new details and save your changes.
Signing Out of Your Account
To log out of your account:
- Navigate to the Profile Page by clicking your name in the sidebar.
- Click Sign Out.
- You will be logged out and redirected to the login page.
Deleting Your Account
If you want to permanently delete your account, follow these steps:
- Go to your Profile Page.
- Scroll down to the Caution section.
- Click Delete Account.
- Confirm your decision to permanently remove your account.
Important Notes:
- Deleting your account removes all your data permanently.
- You will lose access to all your created and contributed Lauds.
- This action cannot be undone.

Q: Can I recover my account after deletion?
No. Once an account is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
Q: Can I change my email address?
Yes, you can update your email from your Profile Page.
Q: Will my messages be deleted if I delete my account?
Your messages and contributions will remain in existing Lauds, but your name and profile picture will no longer be visible.
Q: What happens to my purchased license?
You can still use the license with another LaudWords account. The license is sent to your email, so you will still have access to it even if your account is deleted.
